Service Questions
What are insurance requirements or COIs?
COI stands for Certificate of Insurance and is a proof of our coverage and limits of our various insurance policies.
COI stands for Certificate of Insurance and is a proof that a vendor has adequate insurance coverage for your building or company to enter your premise and perform the contracted services.
A COI is a proof that a vendor has adequate insurance coverage to enter and perform the contracted services or to be a contractor for your company.
The COI is a document that provides information on the amount of coverage and types of coverage held. The COI will detail the limits of the coverage, the holder information, insurance carrier, and period of effect.
Typically your facilities team or building management will have the specific requirements for how IT AMG’s COI should be presented and what minimum limits need to be carried.
Workers Compensation coverage may appear on a COI or may be provided by a separate carrier. Building management will typically require a COI to list additional insureds on the document, however a Workers Compensation (WC) will only cover IT AMG’s employees and will not list the additional insureds.
