Raw facility records from 15 source datasets are ingested, normalized, and deduplicated using a 4-tier matching algorithm (Google Place ID matching, address normalization, coordinate proximity, and name/operator similarity). Where a facility hosts multiple providers, the Index reports the facility operator, which may differ from a provider named in the facility's name. Each merged facility receives a confidence score (0-100) based on source count, address verification quality, operator confirmation, data richness, and source authority. Only facilities scoring 20 or higher and passing a data center classification filter are included in the public database. Unlike other data center lists that rely on a single directory, this database cross-checks facilities wherever more than one of its source datasets reports them. This verification-first approach is deliberately conservative: records that cannot be independently confirmed and located are excluded rather than counted, so the totals published here may read lower than other sources on the internet.
