In that jungle of information that you get at various competitors’ websites, it makes me wonder, how does a company differentiate itself? More importantly, how do we differentiate ourselves? What are we doing that really drives customers to want to work with us, and in some cases, work with us for almost 25 years?

I think the first thing has to just be we’re easy to work with. We live in a world where people have so many different responsibilities that they have to take care of every single day, and especially if you work in IT. You have to worry about that computer that isn’t working, that other end user request. You have deadlines in terms of refreshes. There are so many things that you have to worry about. When it comes to IT asset disposition, it just represents another task that people have to make sure that they’re taking care of. What we bring to the table is really just ease of working with us. Our approach is to be quick with our responses, provide thorough proposals, send out qualified staff to provide on-site services, and then provide all of the compliance reporting and trying to do that in a way that people don’t have to worry about trying to do any follow-up. All they have to do is work with us, and for a lack of a better term, set it and forget.
