A elephant in the room that I think our industry doesn’t talk about enough, which is I’ve been in meetings where we’ve done our pitch and we’ve given our value proposition, presented our financials, whatever it might be, walk out of the office, walk to the car park or to the train and are asked, Well, what’s in it for me to switch to you? Been given these softball questions of, How are you going to help me embezzle these assets? Or, What are you going to pay me directly to switch to you? This is a low-ticket item to a lot of organizations that are not tracking this, but it could be hundreds of thousands of dollars or even millions of dollars in asset returns. For an employee of the company to embezzle even just a percentage of that can be significant for that employee.
