Reuse Before Recycle
ITAMG makes every effort possible to ensure equipment is reused. Our priority is to ensure equipment is repaired, refurbished, and marketed or donated whenever feasible.Equipment that is obsolete and/or broken beyond repair is stripped of reusable parts.
The remaining materials and components are separated and recycled at an EPA Certified Recycling Plant.
Zero Landfill / Zero Exportation of Electronic Waste
ITAMG and its audited Electronic Recycling Partners never incinerate, landfill, or export electronic waste.Prison labor is never used to recycle or process equipment.
All materials are broken down to the most basic components, destroyed and processed for the recovery of commodity grade metals/non-metals through processes that are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of The United States of America.
Process and Procedures
- Equipment is picked up and removed from client's location
- Equipment arrives at ITAMG's secure facility (under 24-7 surveillance)
- Equipment is inventoried, scanned, and stripped of previous owner's asset tags or stickers
- ITAMG assigns new asset tags and performs data sanitization or physically destroys drives
- Equipment is evaluated, reconditioned, repaired and designated for reuse or recycling
- ITAMG trucking and labor delivers designated materials to an EPA Certified Recycler
- ITAMG regularly institutes audits of its processes, employees, and recycling partners
- ITAMG's staff is consistently trained and made aware of the changing laws and regulations
